  • Issue Date:3rd september

  • Error Message:none

  • Details:

  • Detailed steps to reproduce the problem:

  1. Updated the game to the September 3 patch.
  2. Loaded into the world/lots (tested both with active mods and completely mod-free/vanilla).
  3. Observed broken and missing textures in the Cahaya area as well as across various lots.
  4. In my own household/lot: While the issue doesn’t appear immediately if the lot is untouched, updating or modifying the lot immediately triggers broken textures.
  5. In build/live mode, furniture, doors, and windows become completely displaced, shifted, or misaligned from their original placements.
  6. The issue persists regardless of mod usage.
  • Error message: None (No crash or error pop-up, visual and asset alignment bug)

  • Attachments / Files provided:

  1. In-game screenshots showing missing textures in Cahaya and the affected lots.
  2. Screenshots showing displaced doors, windows, and misaligned furniture.
  3. Mods folder archive (.zip containing mods used previously for testing).

The texture issue is completely save-specific. When I create a brand new save, all textures and characters load perfectly with zero problems. However, in my previous save file from before the September 3 update, certain Zoi presets experience broken body and skin textures, causing the characters to render as completely pitch-black silhouettes, as shown in the attached screenshot. Not all characters are affected, only specific presets. This clearly indicates a save data compatibility or asset migration issue caused by the recent patch, rather than a hardware or GPU driver glitch.
