Business Display Table Bug - Customers don't buy products.

  • Steps to Reproduce: Start a bakery business, place display shelves. Bake products to sell and sell them via any display shelf. Run the business for 2 days. the first day the products will be properly purchased and removed from the shelf when customers buy. The second day of running the business, the customers will appear to be completing a purchase but the product is never removed from the display and the customer never ends up paying for any product.

    this has been an ongoing issue for me since the September 3, 2026 version 0.10.0 update. When running a business, selling products on a display shelf, specifically baked goods in my case: The business operates normally the first day of running after having just placed the display shelves. However, on ALL of the days afterwards, the customers run into an issue where they appear to decide to buy an item but then the product remains on the shelf and no money is received.

    I’ve tried deleting the display shelves and repurchasing them from the build menu then reopening the business. This appears to fix the problem, but once again, only for one in-game business day. Please note I’ve also tried “duplicating” the existing display table and deleting the old one. This DOES NOT fix the issue. the issue is only fixed when deleting the original display table and re-purchasing it directly from the build menu.

    I have tried starting a fresh new save and the issue still occurs.

    As a result of this issue, my zoi’s businesses earn no money other than the hourly fee I make zoi’s pay to be in the venue. I’m trying to make my zoi be an entrepreneur with multiple business and this issue has made it impossible for my zoi to run even just one business at a time, let alone multiple!

Oh goodness, yet another business issue… at this point, it’s a whole collection of those…

The businesses have been struggling for months and with every update they seem to get worse. I really hope the dev team will finally recognise the problems instead of adding new businesses with every patch instead of fixing them.

I think you and I encountered the same issue. Please check if it’s caused by hiring staff. I had the same situation as you when I had employees, but when the character manages the shop alone, everything works normally.
