I’m not sure if this is a bug, or something to do with the configuration on my local system. When running the new release/build, it seems that some Zois have an extremely high gloss and ugly make-up on their face/skins. It also accentuates the neck/shoulder “cloak” that is draped over the shoulders (presumably) to merge the face skin to the body skin. I’m using number 2 of the standard 9 in-game skins, changing to a different one has no effect on this gloss appearance. Even when comparing several Zois using the SAME SKIN and NO SHINE setting/s, some have a low/medium gloss and others have a very high gloss effect. It’s a bit mysterious and unsettling

Thats most likely the Zoi spotlight during live gameplay illuminating faces. It really becomes visible during night. They added it during september 3rd update. and now after october update, added to photo mode as well. Anyway, that spotlight really ruins darker ambiance rooms and now can’t take actual room lightning photos because of that forced spotlight. Would be amazing to have Toggle ON/OFF option for that

It’s even worse when a Zoi is also wearing makeup highlights! :joy: It looks so oily. I hope they lower it, remove it, or give us a toggle because it makes everything look plastic and cheap in my game at night

A toggle is the answer. There seems so many things (features) added to InZOI that require a toggle:

  • Spotlight
  • Thought/speach bubbles
  • Group members
  • GUI overlay
  • Etc. etc.

It’s not possible that a feature will appeal to everybody, so surely every new (and many old) feature needs a simple toggle?!

Indeed. I could not find any info regarding someone requesting to add such spotlight to zois. Hopefully DEV team can see this. I found way to live with it while playing, but as I’m doing variety of builds and doing posts heavily relying on lightning, having the spotlight in photo mode is kinda a disaster for me :DD
