My daughter invited a boy from her class to prom for the first time. The two of them are currently in “True Love” status, yet he ignored her the entire evening. He was dancing with all the other girls, my daughter was wandering around clueless or constantly standing in front of the mirror taking selfies. So the party wasn’t fun and I’m wondering why that is — is that normal?
At school he often ignores her too, he constantly flirts with the other girls, and he’s always the one who gets elected prom king.
I wish the prom party would be reworked, because the way it is now doesn’t make sense.
