Empty baby crib won't go away after baby aged

Hello! Pre-recent update I had a baby in a crib. I updated the property like it asked after the newest update, and replaced the preset home I had there initially. The game asked if I would like to move my Zoi’s to a safe area, so I did. After doing that, there was an empty crib, and the baby in another crib. I figured I’d wait for the baby to age up, and see if maybe the empty crib would vanish with the one the baby was in, but it did not.

I can’t delete it, and I’ve used a few cheats I found to try to delete it-- no luck though. I’m assuming the game thinks of it as furniture that I cannot delete considering a baby is supposed to be there. Any ideas on how I can get rid of it?

Have you already tried building a wall that crosses the cradle?

hey @soapy :slightly_smiling_face:, see if what @mialuce66 told you works for you. Another way could be by selecting the object by drawing a box with the mouse + the “shift” key and the delete option comes up, I don’t know if this will help you because it’s a special object…

:cherry_blossom:

I just tried both of those suggestions-- It didn’t work :frowning: thank you both for interacting with my report @mialuce66 @juegaterapia. The next thing I’m going to try is replacing the preset again. I’ll reply again on if it worked or not. :3 Thank you both again.

I re-applied the preset (even an older one) and it didn’t work. :frowning: The curse of the baby crib.

I’m sorry, it’s as if for some reason the game “thinks” the baby is still in the cradle.

It’s all good, I think I’m just going to hide it in a wall somehow. lol Thank you so much for your help!

Here’s the solution…

Empty baby crib in a wall; in the basement. Yikes. :skull: I can’t help but laugh. I feel like I’m hiding a crime. :sob: :joy:

wellooo @soapy only we know it’s there  :+1: , man! hopefully they fix it soon in some patch :folded_hands: . You can also do a quarter of the stuff in the basement or in an attic … check out the idea :light_bulb:

good night :cherry_blossom:

Copy! Thank you!
