"Shoulder-View" Camera Settings

In Camera Settings,

  • Camera vertical offset (Camera position up/down from center)
  • Camera horizontal offset (Camera position left/right from center)
  • Camera rotation & zoom sensitivity
  • Camera field-of-view (FOV)
  • Camera collision speed (Set how fast camera pushed away from blocking walls/objects. The default speed felt too slow for me.)
  • Enable/Disable auto camera rotation

I agree. Before, the shoulder camera was in the center, and I liked it that way. With the update, and the camera on the left, I no longer use it. It would be nice if we could choose the camera position. That way, everyone would find what they like.

Yes, that would’ve been amazing! Also, while we’re at it, I wish we could control the intensity of the built-in color filters (thriller, vintage, b&w etc), and maybe even possibly make our own!

That would’ve been amazing, honestly.

I love the 3rd person camera, but some customization could really make it good.

For me, this new camera has become obsolete and mostly useless.

If you can’t offer a button to switch back to the old default camera, please at least remove the ‘Press Tab for shoulder-view’ prompt in the game.

Thank you.

I agree. This new camera angle is a disaster. Most of the time I can’t see my zoi or her interaction. The only thing that I like about this view is that the roof does not disappear while this view is on. The rest is bad. They should just get rid of it and let us with the free view (while keeping the roof as is and not making it disappear)

Hi everyone (@here)

Shoulder view has been improved with the v0.4.0 update.
You can adjust the shoulder view camera position by pressing [X] + Arrow Keys [← / →]. Thanks!

The improvements are very welcome but we still desperately need Field of View slider for over the shoulder view.
