How do I raise my handiness skill without wasting 200meows each time?
I am skill on level 1 Handiness and the main way I can find to raise it is to keep re making farming equipment but it costs 200 and I can’t sell it so I’m losing a lot of money each time.
I am level 8 gathering and not finding gems so I can’t upgrade my pickaxe (trying to not cheat with money) so I can’t make jewellery either. It’s a vicious circle I find. Is there another way to raise handiness so I can make better equipment?

I have to agree here. There are no skill books etc.
The ONLY way to advance it seems to be by crafting. I start with crafting tools then selling them. At least make some of the money back.
Dont understand for higher tier tools you not only need Meows but need to spend time out gathering.

Unfortunately there isn’t many ways to improve it.
We know also that when we repair something it rises also.

My zoi has tried selling things on a stall. Nothing sells. She just get zois coming over, shouting at her that she’s selling rubbish.
We need the ability to sell them to the resale store or list them on pocketmoney
Here is a brief tip for you that may be trying to level grind the Handiness / Crafting skill.
As you know the only way to level this skill up is to make things at the work bench. The problem is they cost Mew’s to make. For instance, a stone pickaxe costs 200 M. This can be difficult for someone just starting out.
Now you ‘could’ sell the items at a sales stall, taking half a day and if your lucky ‘maybe’ recoup. your investment.
OR… Take the item from your bag and place it in your house. Then go into build mode select the item and delete it.
You will get a refund for more mews than it took to craft it for a sure profit.
As an example, I made a gold pickaxe for 800 and ‘deleted’ it for 1,200!
Hope you find this usefull!
