Hi! This update is amazing and I can’t believe how much content we got! So far I have put about 20ish hours into Cahaya, give or take, and here’s my feedback.
The highs:
Free DLC! (thank you)
I LOVE the new UI
Looks gorgeous, as expected.
Lots of new content for gameplay
Lots of new CAZ and Build items
My favorite new additions: Snorkeling, Boating, Motorbikes, the mesh athletic shorts from CAZ.
The lows:
The city of Cahaya feels small compared to Dowon and Bliss Bay.
Desperately needs a nightclub or some sort of night-life scene. I feel like inZOI in general needs a bars and nightclubs overhaul, but Cahaya in particular needs it the most.
No live careers? Why are jobs like farmer and yoga instructor rabbit holes when the yoga studio and farmlands are playable?
Too many buildings are just set dressing. I want to be able to enter more buildings.
Needs more restaurants for variety.
Although the city feels well populated, the resort feels empty. My zoi lives in the city of Cahaya full time, but also stayed at the resort for two nights and it seemed like the only other zoi at the resort were the staff. Other resort guests were nowhere to be found.
The massive shark in the resort lobby. In real life it would be cruel to keep an animal of that size in a tank that small. He doesn’t have any space to swim or even to turn around. Release my boy!
