Traits to determine speech

Something I think would add a lot of character to Zois is if their traits determined their speech patterns in dialogue options.

For instance, say we have a gangster Zoi, then during character creation, we should get some speech choices to pick from. For the Gangster, I’d pick something like “vulgar” which means they use a lot of slang and curse words.

Another example is for intelligent zois. I could select something like “Sophisticated” for their speech. This could go well with nerdy or high class noble zois.

It’s such a small and easily overlooked feature, but could go a long way in simulating personality if integrated well. In real life, the way we talk can tell a lot about who we are as a person - where we come from, our social class, age, etc. It’s even better for Inzoi because they already have a huge focus on showing different cultures through different worlds. Having Zois all use the same standard speech can feel really robotic and unnatural. I feel like implementing this feature could really set Inzoi apart from their competitors by actually doing something unique.

Think of the possibilities. Not all people are familiar with this term, but imagine the crazy gap moe combinations you could make. Like, imagine a cutie patootie zoi (maybe even a kid) and then they open their mouth and it’s just cuss words lol. Heck, maybe we could even impement parenting interactions where they try and correct the manner of speaking to a casual speech pattern.

Examples of speech patterns:

Intelligent/posh, vulgar, casual, formal/professional, stuttery shy, unintelligent, country twang, romantic, sarcastic, etc.
