Improving the Dining Out Experience

Currently if our Zois want to eat outside their house they need to eat at a fastfood restaurant via kiosk, street food, or vending machine. I believe this can be enhanced so much more. Just imagine, your Zois going out on a date at a nice restaurant, late night dining with friends, or having a casual meal with family. The great thing about this is that this would be able to fit in with the current cities that we have now or be it’s own DLC.

There can be a multitude of unique restaurants types your Zoi can visit:

• Dim Sum
• Korean Barbecue
• Hot Pot
• Brazilian Rodizio
• Teppanyaki
• Seafood Broil
• Sushi
• Ramen
• Pizza
• Buffet
• Fondue
• Etc

With dim sum, Korean barbecue, and hot pot wait staff can either carry or have a cart of items to your Zoi’s table.

With seafood broil a waiter can bring out food in a shovel and dump it on your table.

With Brazilian rodizio (steakhouse) servers can walk to tables with meat on skewers.

Other than the food, there can be a bevy of of different interactions between Zois. Your Zois can cuddle in both dining or hold hands. A Zoi can flirtatiously feed food to another or steal food off their plate. One thing I thought was adorable in Sims 2 was being able to propose at the table.

Also currently during dates at cafes and such, NPCs will randomly sit at the table with you. Personally that should be fixed!! That’s all I have to add at the moment but love this idea!

I don’t know how hard it would be to program but it might be easier for the Inzoi team to program NPCs in the restaurants for very simple functions.

Host/Hostess NPC

• Their sole job is to take groups of Zois to empty tables with the appropriate amount of seating.
• When a group of Zois are seated no other NPCs can interact with that table unless its the Server NPC.

Server NPC

• There job will take a group’s order and deliver food to the table.
• They can function like the kiosks in the cafes and fastfood restaurants when ordering.

Cook NPC

• Cooks the food

Busser NPC

• Their job is to clean the restaurant.
• They can only clear tables when Zois are finished eating.

I think that sounds like a good idea!! And of course we could also see other NPCs in the restaurant interacting with staff and their party too!!

That would be fun. And if they can get a Zoi to sit at the same table as their companion, that would be ideal. I get really into it when I take two Zois to eat and they sit separately, or one sneaks into the table where I was supposed to sit with my companion

I want this too! and hopefully they will allow us to own our own cafes and bars ! I ve been hoping for this too! Thank you for posting this!
