As it is now, Jack sits next to the Pizza and when I tell him to take a piece (because I want them to eat together) he gets up, walks around his chair, takes a plate and stands there until I tell him to sit down, then he walks around the chair again, because we can’t access them from both sides (-.-), sits there with the plate in his hand and when I tell him to eat, he gets up again, places the plate (because dumb me forgot to tell him to do that before he sat down) and only then he eats.
I really wish this would be easier and he could just take a plate from a group meal on the table while staying sit. I’m aware there is this ‘serve’ option now, but we are a big household of Zois and when we eat the leftovers that don’t have enough portions left, it’s still a hassle. Even more so that when I click on a second dish to serve, it deletes the already served plates
