Details:
If you select Fold Umbrella, it will just delete the item instead of storing it in Zoi’s inventory. If you do actions, like weeding, it will store it in your bag, so it seems intended to be a multi use item. Happens with new Zoi save as well, confirmed still happens after today’s hotfix.
Yeah, same. It makes using umbrellas almost useless.
In the meantime, there is a mod on CurseForge that adds better umbrella control functionality. Previously, the mod caused some issues with Zoi interaction (Zois would always refuse social interaction), but this was remedied in the latest official hotfix, and the mod was updated, so it should be alright now.
Alternatively, you can have Zoi change into their raincoats when it’s raining. Click your Zoi, Change Clothing, and then select the Raincoat option. Unsure if this prevents colds, but it just makes more sense visually, regardless.
Since I thought he was kinda cute, I accepted the meet-up.
Since it was raining crazy, I grabbed a “Rainbow Umbrella” from the “Umbrella Stand” in my house then went to the park.
We had a nice meet-up, pestered by 2-3 other ladies who decided to act as chaperons, but whatever…
Then, my Umbrella disappeared when the event ended ! Like Cinderella’s dress !!!

**Steps to Reproduce: **
Grab an umbrella before heading out somewhere.
Once getting to your destination (say in the smoothie shop or other interior premise, click it and select “Fold Umbrella”
It will disappear / get destroyed, and you have to go back home in the pouring rain.
