I have a few ideas on how to improve dating and weddings in the game. What we have in the game is an adorable starting point but we can all agree that things can be enhanced.
As many posters have requested, similar to the Sims series, it would be nice for Zois to have turn ones and turn offs.
There should be a few different ways for Zois can meet NPCs to get into romantic relationships with.

- Singles Mixers
- Blind Dating
- Speed Dating
Online Dating
Online Dating is what it says in the tin. Your Zoi can go on a Tinder like app. You can filter things such as life stage and gender. You thumbs up Zois you like and thumbs down ones you don’t. Then the two Zois can set up a date and proceed from there.
Singles Mixers
Singles Mixers would be small gatherings held on pink lots where single Zips can mingle and hang out. They can be held in restaurants, bars, and parks. Your Zoi could get a notification on their phone and you can decide to go or not.
Speed Dating
Speed Dating would be held at a bar restaurant. Participants will spend short amounts of time with multiple prospective candidates to see if they click and if they would like to get to know them further.
Blind Dating
Blind Dating can be implemented where one of your Zois friends or acquaintances can introduce you to a single Zip via text. You can either accept or decline the offer. If you decide to go on the date your Zoi can get either a positive or negative moodlet. If a blind date goes especially terribly it can cause a negative relationship to the person who set the two of you up in the first place.
After finding a Zoi to be your forever person, next there’s marriage. We currently have two ways to propose; in person on one knee and via text. It would be cool to propose at the dinner table or on the couch.
Next up would be having options to hold events leading up to the wedding.

Wedding Shower
A wedding shower can be a party at your house held before the big day. Guests can bring your Zoi some gifts. As for the gifts themselves, it shouldn’t be useless rubbish but gifts from your registry or money.
Bachelor/Bachelorette Parties
Bachelor/Bachelorette Parties can be as tame or as wild as you want them to be. It could be at a nice restaurant, bar or a club. You can have your Zois automatically be put into T-shirts with a funny slogan in them. Also, being able to hire a dancer would be a plus.
Weddings themselves can be a bit more detailed. Currently, you can have a wedding party but they don’t actually do anything. You can select a color for them to wear but it would be nice for them to wear the same style of outfit. There should be options for your Zois to be able to walk down the isle together with their future spouse, alone, or with a parent. An adorable option would be having a flower girl and ring bearer. They could be toddler or child Zois.
For the wedding itself there should be not only an outdoor venue but an indoor venue as well.
We should have the option to select more than one type of wedding cake and having a cake cutting ceremony.
Wedding fashion can be improved exponentially. Currently there are only two styles of wedding dresses in the game. Having various styles and silhouettes would be fun. Plus, having a few pantsuit options would be lovely.
The same thing can be said about masculine formal wear as well.
Since the last update it was awesome that the Inzoi team finally gave us formal wear for child Zois. Still, there can definitely be more options and maybe formal wear for toddler Zois as well.
Accessories also can really pull in and outfit. New engagement and wedding rings, veils, hair accessories, brooches, and boutonnieres. Also, being able to choose what kind of bouquet you’ll carry would be nice touch.
You should be able to have the option to hire people assist with the wedding. A big one would be a caterer. I remember the first time I had my Zois first got married and everyone was starving. A buffet table or food station or something similar would have solved this. This caterer NPC can have little interactions. All they need to do set up food and clean up. Another similar type of NPC would be a bartender. I understand considering the game’s rating that they can’t officially have your Zois drink alcohol. Still, a bartender can still serve sparkling cider, grape juice, seltzer water, virgin cocktails and smoothies. Similar to the caterer NPC all they need to do is make drinks and clean up.
Another optional NPC for your wedding can be an officiant. Right now you can have an acquaintance officiate your wedding but it would be nice to have the option to hire someone as well.
Finally there’s the entertainment. All I want is to be able to hire a band to play the instruments that are on the wedding venue lots. AND ONLY THE BAND I HIRED. It’s weird to have random wedding guests go up and play the drums during my Zoi’s wedding vows. A similar situation would be a DJ or a singer.
During the reception it would be nice for my Zois to dance. Either the first dance between the married couple, father and daughter dance, mother and son dance, and the chicken dance would be fun to see.
After getting married it would be adorable to be able to have an anniversary or vow renewal.
Does anyone find it odd that every NPC you come across, unless they are from a premade family, is single? What if there was a background system that randomly pairs up Zois to be dating, engaged or married. Another fun thing would be to be invited to someone else’s wedding. That would make the world feel alive and not revolve around the player.
An honorable mention would be divorce. If NPCs can get together on their own, then they should break up on their own as well. Something that would be interesting would be able to convince a partnered Zoi to get a divorce. Also, of your Zoi gets divorced they should be able to throw a divorce party.
