For Adult Players i would Love the Freedom of Choice, not only when it comes to Censorship or Mod-ability of InZoi.
In my Opinion, if it comes to Live Simulation, one important Aspect is, the Community and not least the Modders.For the Long Run these Options will keep the Game Interesting and Engaging.So not only be Able to Mod but Improve Features & sharing Creativity through the Modding. this will offer the Players Freedom of Choice. i´m looking for things like Nexus Mods, for Example. The Release of the Official InZoi ModKit will open these Portals for the Players.
Don’t get me wrong I adore playing romance and sexual stuff, and where would it stop if censorship was removed and players could opt into like an 18+ version ? many games through modding; conan, fallout 4 etc attract players that enjoy darker erp (erotic roleplay) like captives, sex slaves, gore play, toilet play etc and do we really want inzoi to be that ? not me for sure. Already as we all know nudity is available through nexus for inzoi and if a modder decided to erp could be too, not only this but fighting in a more gore way could be too for those that want it, and a choice for a player, I am all for choice. Should it be officially supported by inzoi devs ? I dont really think its in keeping with the inzoi theme, for me keep inzoi 12 rated and if you want more go to unofficial mods or go play something else. I love love inzoi for romance and interactions and all the things it is. My opinion, I have a relevant voice
That’s not what I’m referring to.. adult content can mean darker themes, more emotional elements, miscarriage, depression, heartbreak, violence, murder, more complex emotions, etc, all of which are limited by the games age rating. Not sure why your mind went to such a dirty place
To be fair, there isn’t a game like that but there should be. I wouldn’t play it but it sounds useful for therapy and would probably have an audience to rival inZoi and The Sims.
I don’t know if it would be interesting to add +18 content (sexual or not)…
Including, because they are activities that can be added later through mods.
But I would really like romantic interactions to be less “cutesy”. Currently, they seem like childish and pre-teen flirting interactions (even The Sims 4 is less innocent). Regardless, there could be many more interactions with physical contact, such as: stroking the face, kissing on the cheek, kissing the hand, varieties of hugs and kisses…
I’m all for keeping the game within the game’s rating, and having it so players who want more adult-themed stuff can get mods for that.
For one, if they enable any 18+ mode, then it’s an 18+ game and that limits its reach. The simple ability to change the setting would make it automatically an adult-rated game.
Second, a lot of players have more fun without darker themes (as mentioned in the thread; it’s not just about sex). I appreciate the heart cloud for sex in the game and I don’t want to see it change. I hope it won’t.
This game gives us a few options that similar games never did, like more realistic violence. Zois can straight-up punch each other in the face! No stupid dust cloud nonsense.
My opinion is the game is rated the way I’d like it to remain for my own playstyle preferences, as well as the game’s marketability (not limited to an adult only audience because of a setting). Mods exist exactly to fill the “voids” some players feel.
I’ve said it once and I still maintain it: it’s very respectable that, being a Korean game, they have their rules and censor whatever they think should be censored. I have no objection to that; in fact, I support it. However, being from the West, we have a different culture, which shouldn’t be trampled on. They should, at least for Westerners, remove censorship completely… Although there’s also a problem: minors playing the game… Although, as I said before, that’s the parents’ responsibility
That’s understandable and respectable. Mods can’t do much if developers don’t provide the tools or limit mod use. But as you say, it could be optional, something that can be enabled/disabled in the game’s settings. The idea is not to force anyone to feel uncomfortable with anything, but rather to broaden the horizons of gameplay
I like the idea of being able to remove censorship. This could be allowed through the options/settings or by ‘cheats’.
But I think it’s even more important to change what they ‘wear’ during the bath and the censorship stain. I think it’s very weird that they are using a towel and even stranger that it is so visible through the censorship stain. Maybe they could make the censorship stain less transparent to remove the towel and underwear without leaving it “indecent”. Similarly, I think it’s strange that it’s so visible that they are fully dressed when using the toilet.
I could see depression possibly, more complex emotions, heartbreak and maybe some more violence but full murder and miscarriages? No. I’ve seen quite a few people lately state they don’t want that stuff in the game at all cause it’s triggering to those who have experienced it. I personally don’t care, none of that stuff has ever bothered me and I had mods for it in the sims to add more realism but I don’t think any life sim will have that because of how people feel about it and depending on what kind of vision they have for their game
Bitlife is a life sim that has all of these elements. I think a game like inzoi could benefit from having the ability to disable certain events, interactions etc in the city menu or the settings to customize their gameplay personally
Okay but bitlife doesn’t show you those things actually playing out so you can see it, it’s just text and easy to get away with than seeing it visually. And yeah they could make it a toggle feature, but the game age rating is already low so they would have to change it in order to even add stuff like that which I don’t see them doing. And again I highly doubt some something like murder would ever make it into the game. And if a majority don’t agree on having these features then it definitely won’t happen.
