Teen gameplay should be improved to allow teens to buy/own cars and have a part time job on the weekend. The restrictions on this age group make it hard to story-tell. Teens can rent and drive boats, but not cars. You can start the game playing only as a teen, buy a house and move in, but cannot buy a car. In life, teens are allowed to drive and work, this should be reflected in game. I would like to see my teens be able to drive themselves to school, to hangout with friends, or to other locations around the city.
In Bliss Bay, absolutely. Not so sure about Cahaya or Dowon, I do know (at least, if I remember correctly) that only California has 16 year olds able to get a driver’s license in real life, even in the US most states require a minimum of 18, 19, 20 or even 21. Here in Canada the age requirement is 18.
Not really. Here in ontario i got my learning permit shortly after turning 16 when i was allowed to drive under supervison and got a driving instructor. 8 months later and i took my road test and passed, thus obtaining my temporary driving license shortly after turning 17. If i did everything earlier, i could have still been 16 while driving.
While i disagree about the fact zoi teens should be able to own cars (cause what kind of teen buys him own car?), i do think teens should be allowed to borrow their parents’ car and their parents should be able to teach them to drive
I live in the US, and the ability to get a drivers license varies by state but is between 16-18. I got my permit at 15 and fully licensed at 16. Worked a part time job at 16 and bought my own car
.
If they went by this logic:
“(While i disagree about the fact zoi teens should be able to own cars (cause what kind of teen buys him own car?), i do think teens should be allowed to borrow their parents’ car and their parents should be able to teach them to drive)”
Then it would not make sense to be able to start the game and play only as a teen. Because in what world is a teen able to buy their own house? This one, lots of celebrity, and fully emancipated teens own their own housing. In the US, lots of secondary school students starting in their Junior year of high-school own vehicles and drive themselves to school. I’ve worked in education for 17 years and majority of our students (Age 16-19) drive to campus. There are lots of teens on their own taking care of themselves by working and paying for their own transportation and housing.
This is a life simulation game, and we should be able to tell stories that resonates with life.
I think it is to consider that the teenage reaches from 13 to 19. So the line has to be drawn somewhere.

The adolescent stage in Inzoi is between 11-15, the teen stage is between 16-20. They have different stages for a reason. They can definitely allow teens to drive if they wanted.
There are laws against that. When you buy a car, the one thing that you do no matter what is signing a contact. However, minors cannot sign a contract and any contract they do sign will be non legally binding and void meaning they cannot legally buy the car themsleves. This is true for most countries incliding the US, korea and indonesia. This also applies to insurance and license plates.
Of course, they can get their guardians to sign for them, so they technically will own it. Howeever, in terms of inzoi i think itd be much simpler if teens werent allowed to own cars and just borrowed their parent’s car or something and if their parents passes away, they get to inherit the title of the car
I agree!
It would be great to have the opportunity to combine high school or university with part-time jobs (studying in one shift and working in another) and/or the possibility of working on weekends.
I miss that my son who lives alone can study and work at the same time.
I don’t know about the states in the USA, but it’s true that in many other places in the world, people under 18 years old cannot drive.
This is a video game, there are no laws in Cahaya, Bliss Bay or Dowon. This is a wishlist post, and you really don’t have to agree with my suggestion, but I am allowed to suggest it.
Of course you are allowed to suggest it, you were also allowed to start the real life discussion and we are allowed to discuss it ![]()
Just like in Spain, until they reach adulthood they can’t drive (which is why I don’t find it important or so shocking). But I do think they should give more realism to group outings and make it feel like they’re a teenager who wants to spend time with their friends. It would be fun ![]()
They can buy their house because it was with inherited money!
Truly, as you say it’s a simulation game and since in other countries teenagers can drive. It would be good if they thought of something to give the option to people who want to play with teenagers driving. It’s true that it’s a bit jarring that they can choose to buy a house and not the other…
