Ideas to Make InZoi Even More Immersive, Realistic, and Player-Friendly

(Note: I used AI assistance to write this message because I have dyslexia and ADHD. I just wanted to share my ideas as clearly and helpfully as possible.)

Hello @KjunKjunKjunKjun and the InZoi Team,

first of all, a huge thank you for your incredible work on InZoi!
You can really feel the passion and detail in every part of the game.

While playing, I came up with a few ideas that could make the experience even more comfortable, realistic, and creative for all players.

1. Manage Mods Directly In-Game

  • Ability to enable or disable mods during gameplay.

  • Download new mods from the Workshop without returning to the main menu.

  • Mods become instantly available, allowing smoother creative sessions.

Benefit: Creative play sessions would flow naturally without interruptions.

2. User-Friendly Cheat Menu

  • Cheats like “Add Money,” “Unlock Objects,” or “Speed Up Time” available via an in-game interface.

  • No console commands needed — just clear buttons and toggles.

Benefit: Fewer barriers and more freedom, especially for players who love building or experimenting.

3. Building & Expansion Improvements

Expandable Lots:
Allow players to freely expand their lots, perfect for large builds or detailed projects.

Build up to or over sidewalks:
Buildings could extend right up to the street or even over it — with balconies, bridges, or terraces, while pedestrians walk underneath.

Buy neighboring lots:
Let players purchase adjacent lots. Once bought, the existing building disappears, leaving a buildable area for expansion.

Freer pool placement:
Pools could be placed anywhere — next to buildings, across levels, or seamlessly connected to terraces.

Stable editing system:
Sometimes foundations or decorations disappear while editing. It would help if existing structures remained stable during adjustments.

Workshop and save improvements:
When reinstalling, custom textures and Workshop items are lost.
→ Automatic Steam Cloud backups for both personal creations and subscribed Workshop items would prevent this.
→ A “My Subscribed Items” tab in the Workshop would allow players to re-download everything at once after reinstalling.

4. Flexible Hiring of Cleaning Staff

Instead of one-time cleaning services, players could hire cleaning staff for longer periods (e.g. a month) so they come regularly without rebooking.

How it could work:

  • Players choose whether cleaning happens daily, weekly, or on specific days.

  • Cleaning staff can be dismissed anytime, but if canceled mid-month, the full month’s fee still applies.

Benefits:

  • More convenience and realism — no constant rebooking.

  • Flexible planning — players decide when cleaning happens.

  • Clear, fair system — simple and transparent payments.

This would make property management smoother and more immersive overall.

5. Custom Radio Station for Player Music

It would be amazing to have a custom radio station that lets players enjoy their own music in-game.

For example, there could be a folder like Documents/InZoi/Music, where players can drop their favorite songs. These would then play via a “Custom Radio” station while driving, building, or relaxing.

Benefit: Players could enjoy a personal, emotional soundtrack while playing, making their world feel truly unique.

6. Why These Features Matter

  • More realism: Cities and homes feel connected and alive.

  • Greater creativity: More tools and freedom for players.

  • Improved stability and saves: No more lost content.

  • Personal immersion: Own music, flexible tools, and smooth workflows.

  • Long-term motivation: Continuous goals and creative expansion.

Thank you so much, @Kjun, for being so open to community ideas and feedback.
Your dedication and passion make InZoi stand out as one of the most promising creative simulation games today.
