I’m having the same issue—when I click on the zoi, I can’t give birth. I also tried using the cheat “hello my angel,” but it didn’t work.

There are pregnant zois, including senior citizen in the community who cannot give birth. 20251226-080022.zip (19.3 MB). I tried to uninstall and reinstall the game but did not fix issue.

I have two separate zois in different families that are stuck at the “give birth” phase. They have baby bumps, but “give birth” button will not do anything on either zoi.

Hi everyone(@here), we’ve identified this issue and added it to the Known Issues notice.

Pregnant Zoi may intermittently fail to give birth.

We’ll let you know if there are any updates.

In the meantime, if it can help other players:

I canceled the ongoing pregnancies with the cheat code removePregnancy.

Then I used the computer to generate births (except with mothers who were too old), the Sims apparently didn’t notice anything…

This allows you to still have children while waiting for the bug fix!

My Zoi can’t give birth. The prompt for “give birth” with an exclamation point stays there fixed, and I cannot trigger the cutscene. This happened to another Zoi I have proximately one day ago; I restarted my game, and she was finally able to have her baby. However, after trying that same strategy with my current Zoi, no dice. I’m going to wait it out and see what happens; figured I would still add my current predicament.

I wanted to add an update now that it’s a few days later.

It seems that my characters are giving birth approximately 8-12 hours (give or take) after playing the game.

Timeline: I start the game, then I discover zoi has the “give birth” bug. I’ll eventually shut down the game (I HAVE to leave off on the pregnant zoi or it doesn’t work); Then if I wait about 8-12 hours before I start the game back up, she’ll give birth. She can’t be left in the middle of a task, she has to be the Zoi I leave off on when closing the game, and she has to be the Zoi I start with when starting the game back up. To top it off, I seemingly need to wait 8-12 hours. I hope this helps give a bit more information on the bug. I had five pregnant Zois (they did it all on their own lol), and I have successfully gotten two out of the five to give birth while using this method.

I thought I’d share a small bit of success in case it assists the developers, and other players.

I’d like to add to this thread that i have two families in my town with Zois that I never actively played that are now middle-aged or senior (96 years old!), pregnant with the give birth exclamation mark but clicking it doesn’t do anything. I wonder if my town is dying without any babies being born from non-active families because of this bug?

Hi, I have two Zois in the same family stuck unable to give birth as well and one has even become a senior. I’m not quite sure whether or not pregnant Zois are able to pass away like normal Zois so I’m worried it might affect my senior Zoi’s life cycle! Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix it?

I have the same issue. Several Zois in the world are pregnant but unable to give birth. I tried to remove one pregnancy with cheats and try again, but the same thing happened.

I’m also having the same problem. The zoi has been pregnant for more than 7 days. The plan was for her to give birth then have the parents divorce, I can’t take their arguing anymore

I clicked on give birth while eating, but a bug occurred and the character just keeps eating and won’t give birth.

Other actions don’t work either, and when I press emergency exit, it says the Joi is dying.

The whole give birth thing is messed up. I’d planned for my zoi to give birth, then get divorced, with the father keeping the baby. The woman was so miserable. She wouldn’t get a job, she cleaned the house non-stop and cooked loads of food that just went off. Then she’d bicker and argue with her husband. She’d tease him and laugh in his face. She was HORRIBLE. I have no idea why he wanted to marry her. It was love at first sight, even though she kept turning him down and playing hard to get. He should have seen it coming; she was mean.

Anyway…

She got stuck pregnant. I got them to divorce, but she wouldn’t leave the house, so I’ve taken the fridge out. Now the husband and his sister are getting takeaways or eating at her café until the ex-wife moves on to zoi heaven (if she can get in).

You can try the “RemovePregnancy” cheat if you have not already.

I didn’t use the cheat as my zoi really wanted the baby. It was the wife who had to go.

I’m experiencing a pregnancy bug. My Zoi moved to a new house and decided to have a child, but an exclamation mark keeps appearing saying she’s going to have a baby — however, she never actually gives birth. I’ve already clicked on her to trigger the birth cutscene, but nothing happens.
This is her second child; her first one is already a teenager, and that pregnancy worked normally.
