Natural Disaster Stuck Wont End

  • Steps to Reproduce: The natural disaster triggered but hasnt stopped after a few game weeks

  • Please provide the entire save file(s) from the date when the issue occurred.

  • **Details:**A disaster triggered a couple of weeks ago, before the halloween update. I was riding it out until it had been going for a full week. I have searched and it is suppoed to loast a few game hours not weeks. I have tried to trick it by switching disasters using the cheat codes from Rain to Dust Storm. Its still the same. I cant move out of the city. I tried to play another family from another city, had them move to Cahaya, they didn’t arrive with the natural disaster, just normal rain. Switched back to my family and the natural disaster is still there.

I’m having the same issue with a heatwave in Cahaya. It’s fall season and yet the heatwave has been going on for days and days, with no way to get rid of it using cheats; everyone is having their energy drain really fast and constantly getting the ‘scared’ moodlet when outside. Given how annoying the effects are, disasters shouldn’t last for more than a single in-game day at most.

try to go into the map view and manually select a different weather like rain 2. there is also a ‘controlWeather’ cheat that should do the same thing.

I’ve tried both; it doesn’t work. Changing weather can’t be done during a natural disaster. The only way cheats help is by allowing you to switch to another disaster, but then I might be stuck with that one instead (I may try it anyway though).

I’m concerned this bug is still present in 0.5.2. Please fix it.

Also stuck with an ongoing dust storm in Dowon, several days and it hasn’t gone away. My zoi’s business is closed for the duration and they can’t do anything but stay at home. Kind of ruins gameplay!

I don’t really want to have to start all over again as I have put a significant amount of time into this save, and this family is finally starting to get somewhere.
