Return inzoi to his old self!

Hello Devolopers Team,

I have a request and I will make a complaint. After the update, I noticed something like this in the game; “Inzoi is not the same as before. When I drive on the streets or move far away with the camera, cars and zoi suddenly appear. Other than that, cars and zoi are not visible in the distance as before. I think they did this for performance, but it is very bad. It is very annoying that a motorcycle or a car or a zoi suddenly appears in front of me.”
Please, You should restore the game to its old state. Inzoi loses its fun when it’s like this.

Hmm.. When Zoi was walking, cars seemed to render from farther away, but once you got into a car yourself, the traffic would suddenly half-vanish. Zois were appearing/disappearing right in front of you. Their respawns are super frequent now, since the game makes sure plenty of NPCs stay close to the camera.

Ran a few hours of testing and rolled back. Didn’t feel right.

They did it like this for low-end computers. They sacrificed the game for low-end systems. Huh? @GDfromRivendell

Probably, yeah. It was mentioned. But it’s better to feedback things like this and double-check on Discord.

Pop-in distance can be edited in the settings I believe? The update reset all settings to defaults, so you could try editing that and see if it helps.

I don’t think there is such a setting because I didn’t see it and I have a high-end computer. I think they changed it. @Liessahl

All my settings were on Ultra + Max Population / Mount and the CPU was barely loaded at 19%, and the GPU’s at 42%.

Yes, those are the ones I was thinking of - character and object display distance. @mxmun20 are these set to max in your game?

My settings is in ultra @Liessahl @LennyOgg

I didn’t get why everything eased up, felt like a strict request softened. I double checked – now Zois spawn at 15 meters, so you’ve got plenty of them on screen. The existing ones don’t disappear when the camera moves away, but the game wants a crowd, so it keeps spawning them.

Many users pointed out that faraway NPCs and cars suddenly disappear or pop in due to distance culling, breaking immersion. As you know, this is tied to optimization. We’ll try adding improvements in this build.

So they really did sacrifice this situation for performance. I wrote this message to kjun on Discord multiple times, and he read my messages; everything I said is in the Q&A section. But what bothers me is that they said they will improve it. So they won’t completely remove Zoi and the disappearing vehicles? @GDfromRivendell

Oh, I don’t feel like analyzing the reasons. We’ve received the answer, so let’s wait. A lot of USP points are highlighted already, and some are still left.
