Hi everyone,
I’d like to suggest a feature that could make future playthroughs much smoother and more enjoyable.
Idea:
A system that allows players to save a complete family in the character customization menu and load that family directly when starting a new playthrough.
Why it would help:
-
No need to rebuild the same family every time
-
Faster game start for players who like consistent family setups
-
Keeps immersion and creativity intact
-
Great for long-term players who develop family stories
What do you all think? Would this be useful to you as well?
Looking forward to your thoughts!

I see it as absolutely necessary. Since the game is in Early Access, my biggest concern is not knowing whether my saved games will break with each update and I won’t be able to continue playing with my families. I play with many families that are interconnected with each other, and it would be impossible for me to recreate them from scratch. This is the reason why I don’t allow myself to play at full capacity. I like to play a single save and evolve it over years of real-life time (in all The Sims games I still play with saved games that I started when they were released).
In this sense, if it were possible, saved families should also save their interconnections, at least at the kinship level.

Absolutely! I’ve already asked this both here and on Discord.
