Yes, I know all that. Sims 4 Remastered is just a rumor/fake from EA themselves, knowing that rumors would spread anyway, they fuel them on purpose. But insiders know the real info and are subtly hinting that this will be an entirely new game based on the cancelled cross-platform Project Rene (not in the current form of mobile Roblox). And yes, they’re working on it 24/7, with more time than on Sims 4, and it’s serious.

Did you see the news? “Sims 4 over video”. The Sims platform has been released. Most creators are putting this and they accepted it. I think the information is correct, I think the game engine is changing. And the remastered version is coming out.

I already wrote about this a month ago here and on Discord, when the first leaks appeared, but they keep changing their minds all the time, only SimMatically knows. Maybe. And we can’t know, because of competition, and they have no reason to reveal all their plans.

Discord is mob mentality as far as I can tell - I look at it for pictures BUT I joined this forum to enjoy other people’s perspective on the game and I learn so much.

Thank you. According to rumors there will be the open neighborhoods, though it’s unclear how many lots, maybe 5, maybe 25. The engine is the same. Anywhere inZOI risks moving toward Sims, Sims itself can eventually come in, only bringing along its 30–60k+ concurrent players. I don’t understand the intention of the team and the audience to clash head‑on, with only 1-2k vs 30-60k+. inZOI has to find and firmly secure its own place in the market.
Because on Discord some people keep saying, “but Sims 4 has a closed world.” Forget it. Sims 4 is closed. There’s only a small team left to fix bugs.
