Everything freezes when I click ctrl shift c? Anyone else having this issue?

    Whenever I try to use the cheat tab, it freezes the whole game. Started happening on November 14.

Forgot to add, yes I removed the mods as well, but the issue is still there.

What you could try is checking the post below and see if anything listed there helps to solve the issue.

In addition you can verify your game files on steam and try if it’s also happening in a new save (without mods)

Hi there!

Have you verified the game files on steam after getting rid of the mods? This would help fix any problem that the mods might have caused before removing them. You do seem to have good specs, so I don’t think it’s an aoptmization issue.

Other possible solutions I have found online:

  • I think could be using the shift on the left instead of the shift on the right.
  • Using Ctrl + Shift + Windows Key + C to open the cheat menu, works on some computer models.
  • Increasing page file size sometimes fixes freezing and crashing issues. There’s a quick tutorial here.
