Before the update, the game ran smoothly but after the update now it freezes and crashes go back to home screen I have seen I on Facebook people having same problem

I haven’t been able to do anything on my game since the Halloween update, it keeps crashing on me, needless to say that I stop playing sims because of the same reason and now I think I am going to do the same here. I want a game that will work after updates. Day three of not being able to get on it!

hi nothing do with my Hardware Specifications & Operating System it do with the update i getting same problem on my pc and my laptop problem his your end thanks

I have noticed that if you alter the mods in any way (install, enable/disable, or uninstall) it causes these major instability issues. The only fix I have found involves deleting the inZOI folder in Documents and letting it regenerate. This is really not ideal.

Did you try with all your mods deleted from your documents mod folder? and blueclient folder (if downloaded from nexus)?

There were also some steps provided on the discord announcement on steps to try if experiencing crashes, have you tried them all?

@MinnieStell hi, can I send you my PC specs? The game crashes a couple of times on startup and then starts working. I didn’t have any problems before the update.

  • Hardware Specs and Operating System Windows 11, 64 bit, Intel(R) Core i7-12700K 12th generation (3.60 GHz), 80.0 GB RAM, GeForce RTX 4060 Ti VENTUS 8 GB + GPU installed

Still crashing on game startup during the intro video despite all recommended solutions, including deleting folders in Gallery Post.

just had an update i done what you said in email remove mods then had an update then update my mods in game for an hour it happen crashed

I had never had a crash before last update, I can now no longer play the game. :frowning: Says the mods I have all failed and then crashes to desktop. Just spent 2 hours trying to figure out what is going on. Done trying for now, will look to see if they fix anything. Sigh
