It shouldn’t be that much of a hassle to unlock, since Zois already have their unique IDs.

Yes, that’s an awesome and long overdue change. I’m sick and tired of reading the wrong surname of some of my child zois because I wasn’t around when they were born (due to our lovely autonomy bug).

You used to be able to at least change your last name when you got married, which was removed for no apparent reason!!

I remember that but it was removed super early. In one of the April patches or maybe early may.
Funny how they keep removing small little things like that…

I feel like this is a really important idea. They could even implement the option to change name at the police station or the hospital or something.
For story playing, let’s say a family got divorced in a story plot. Maybe the kids would change their last names to live with a parent, so it would be nice to change that. Or even just a Zoi who wants to change their name for a personal reason.
