Huge delay with the child asking an adult to “Do the Laundry".

      Have a child ask an adult to “Do the Laundry”

Basically what the title says.
When a child ask an adult to do the laundry they both move to the washing machine, that works relatively well.
But once they reach the washing machine, the timer bar for the action starts counting down, but nothing happens at all. Then in the last second the adult presses the button on the washer and sparkles happen and the action complete as usual.

The problem is the original delay once both zoi are at the washer, nothing happens until the last second.
Before it used to happen almost immediately. As soon as the 2 zois were at the washer the adult would press the button immediately.

The issue does not happen when someone does the laundry on his own.
