I thought they come from from the preferences, when they like what they do, they’re yellow like in the pic and if the dislike it, they are broken black/gray hearts.
But since screen clutter breaks my immersion and these hearts also are still visible when I hide the UI to take pics, I’ve removed all preferences a good while ago.
Yet still these hearts just showed up when Mr Lunvik watered the plants.
What else causes them?

I believe Zois can also have likes / dislikes related to their Desired Life and possibly Values as well. Maybe it’s something to do with that?
