Just having one Toddler makes it impossible for zoi to perform any kind of long actions at times.
Like cooking / eating, but really any actions you can think off.
It wouldn’t be half bad if the Zoi would not forget what they where doing before and go to resume that action.
See in the picture below, my zoi managed to finish cooking her breakfast AFTER 3 INTERRUPTIONS from the ONE toddler.
She sits down to eat… Toddler throw ANOTHER fit (why not!), she rose up leaving the food on the table and went to see what the little bugger wanted THIS TIME… And then decided she was still hungry.
Instead of finishing eating her “English breakfast”, she darted to the fridge and wasted money on a Bibimbap…
Now what happens after the picture? She didn’t eat it, because the little one threw its 7-8th fit again, so she went to him again… and then again to the fridge to eat a mango…. Need I go on ? this is insane.
So, please make it so if the toddler wants attention, it gets queued AFTER the current action has completed ?
Better yet, if one zoi is doing something, the game should see if another one is free and queue action to that ZOI ?

@Samuriko 100% agree! This is really, really annoying and disturbing. And if you have 2 toddlers nobody is able to finish anything anymore… It becomes a pure micromanagement in order to keep the parent Zoi doing what they should do.

And in some games I have even more toddlers. With them taking 6 days to hit child, I once made a game with kids being one day appart, it was infernal. At least in that game my house was relatively small and I had a hubby to give me a hand.
Still all those interruptions are annoying.

Mentioned this in another thread but you need to keep the toddlers occupied with other stuff. Just plop down some toys and keep queueing up more actions for them. I have mine use the toddler slide and practice standing with the sofa a lot, which also improves their ‘motor functions’ skill or whatever it’s called. I do agree this needs to be fixed though.

this is part of an ongoing bug where toddlers are a pain in the butt. i agree totally though and even wrote about it in one thread where i think toddlers should not automatically override everything. this happens in sims 3 as well where the script sends like a call-out to every sim on the lot and they all drop what they’re doing and head for the toddler. but only 1 sim is needed to deal with the toddler, so the other 2 sims just dropped their actions and walked from different floors/across the lot for no reason. its bad game logic.

Sorry for not being of help but your posts are always so hilarious hahaha.
Zois do indeed do this a lot, even without toddler tantrums interruptions. Sometimes zois just stand up before even eating a single bite of their recently cooked meal, and go straight to the fridge to cook a new one

Instead, just queue the action after whatever the zoi is doing…
Like you can’t eat, do homeworks, train, nothing… As soon as a newborn / toddler asks for something, our zoi forgets whatever they were doing and go to take care them. But they do not resume w/e they were doing before.
If a zoi was hungry/eating, chances are he’ll throw whatever he had in his hands in the trash, take care of the baby, then go get a new meal from the fridge. It’s super annoying.
So as I said: Instead just queue the baby action AFTER whatever the zoi is doing…
Maybe prioritize idle zois not doing any actions (if any) before those that are busy as well.
Thank you !

Hi @Samuriko ,
Since your post is the same as the one you posted a while ago about toddlers or newborns interrupting actions, I will merge them.

Thanks… It’s been two months and this is extremely annoying.
I am hoping something gets done about it, the sooner the better !
