Had this happen 2 times in 3 days.
You have no say in the matter, it just happens out of nowhere and (may) disturb your day and what you had planned to do or something. Would be nice if we knew what triggered this and maybe we get a choice of 3 meeting times in a choice menu + a fourth saying : “Ill see you as usual, no need to come to my place”.
Then comes the fact that one of the 2 times the other person didn’t show up ?
Yes, this happens regulary but mainly if your Zoi has many friends and has not seen them for a while. In my saves it mostly start happening when the Zoi enters the family life and is not hanging out with their friends so much anymore. Then it occures like 1-2 times a week. It nearly never happens in the phase before where they are more hanging out in the city and meeting with their friends. At least in my saves.
The annoying thing is that it is really always scheduled at the same time as one of the other automatic schedule events or sometimes even at working hours. Also in my game it takes them at least half of the planned time to arrive and they mainly stand somewhere outside near the entrance to your lot and are waiting until you start the actions of the event.
I fully agree that we should be able to schedule a proper time for the event or decline it.
I wouldn’t mind it if it happened after an extended time period without interacting with these friends.
Like one of the 2 I literally talked to her the day before on the beach for a good while.
The other one I had not seen in a while, which is to say 2-3 days.
Maybe the threshold should be at least 10 days without any in-person interaction ?
10 is just a number could be larger. Also they could text you to schedule something together as well, game should scan both parties preference and pick something (workout together, eat together, go to library together), stuff like that.
Always meeting at our house feels odd.
anyways, throwing in a few suggestions to make the concept fit better and be more fun.
I would like that. It would make much more sense and would be less repetitive if you would schedule to go out with your friend to eat, hang around at beach, workout, dance or whatever. 
Just had another one (2nd one in 2 days) pop out of nowhere.
Other Zoi did not show up, and ended-up costing me half my friendship bar with them.
Thankfully you can grind friendship pretty easy (except with an authoritarian) but… very annoying.
And another one. Is this a bug now? Should I post it as a bug report ?
It keeps happening almost daily. and it’s starting to get intrusive.
I have other things planned for my zoi to do the mornings before dinner.
This is a bug imo, because when I logged in and the event popped up, it was already running for over 30 minutes, currently it’s 2:32 and the even started at 2 (which it didn’t before saving).
It also is auto scheduled even though I turned it off.
Does it have a negative effect when I cancel it?
We also can’t see who we are supposed to meet until we go(?) so we can accidentally ruin a valued friendship?
Saiwa never interacted with this guy and yet their friendship level is so high?
I really wish I could stop these NPC annoyances completely when I turn autonomy off,
I just want to play my game -.-
