Steps to Reproduce: accept text message from ZOI for friendship or romance event.
Details: This has happened twice - once last night (10/12/25) when I got the “there’s something I want to talk to you about” text, and today (10/13/25) when I received the “love or friendship?” text. The NPC who sends the texts doesn’t show up. I tried to call him to me, and the option was greyed out – last night because he was asleep, and today because he’s at work. With the friendship quest, I didn’t even get a “recommended or immediate actions” pop-up – literally nothing happened and I was just alone with the workers in the hotel in bliss bay. Today, I have the event actions pop-up, but still no NPC.

Players reported sometimes Zois ‘vanish’ from the game.
Just to make sure they are still in your game/save.
Calling a Zoi over risks overriding/deleting the event because it creates its own mini-event, I think, so I wouldn’t use that if you want the event to stay.
The first event has been in the game since the beginning, and I don’t think it’s fully fleshed out right now. No actual event starts, just the schedule updates, but (in my experience) the Zoi who invited me usually randomly shows up in the area an hour or so after the event starts. They don’t actually come up to say anything to your Zoi, though. You have to look around for them.
By any chance, was it a female Zoi who brought it up, or was it a male Zoi who got someone else pregnant? In my save, it happened after a female Zoi that my Zoi was romantically involved with got pregnant by someone else (her husband… Don’t judge lol He was very mean). While she didn’t actually say anything to my Zoi about it when they met, she was newly pregnant when it happened. It could be triggered when a Zoi gets pregnant by someone else.
As for the second event, I haven’t seen that one yet, so I can’t comment on it, but keep an eye out for the Zoi around the area. Outside of parties where guests are teleported, Zois are always super late to those meet-up events lol
Yes, outside of the event it is possible to call them over. I have my save files zipped if you need to poke around, just couldn’t attach here for some reason.
Ah I’m no mod here and I’d have no idea what to look for either. Just thought I’d mention it in case the Zoi vanished. In my game, events are also a bit weird, some of my couples can plan dates and some not. I hope they get fixed soon.
