Right now I play with the “FeatherBag” cheat in my games where I farm my own produce.
For finished meals, the current fridge selection is enough. I am currently using a “Two-Door Bottom Drawer Fridge” and it has room for 30 meals, I think the highest I reached was 22 and it was empty a few days later. There might be fridges with even more capacity that I have not tried as well.
The issue is that even with “FeatherBag” active, and having a backpack like this :
(Which is not a lot, in another game I had over 2000 units of produce on my person)
Only my mom-zoi can cook with these ingredients. They cannot be traded (well they can but one by one only and with a lengthy animation), and thus unusable for the hubby and later the adolescent/teens that will want to cook too.
So it would be nice if we had a large horizontal freezer to store infinite amount of produce (unrealistic but who cares, I am seeking convenience here). Produce does not go bad anyways so why not.
In the freezer example in the picture below, it would measures approximately 79.1 inches wide, 31.02 inches deep, and 38.2 inches high… Now what would that mean as a footprint in InZOI ? Let’s use a standard chair for an example –> An 80-inch width can accommodate approximately three to four standard-sized chairs. So that means 9-12 squares wide and 4-5 squares deep, using inzoi kitchen chairs as a ruler. Using these measurements, the freezer would also be 5 squares high, slightly higher than the dishwasher in-game or about the height of the cylindrical music speaker. You could make a smaller, half-width version of it too, why not. The full-sized one below goes for around 1800-2000 USD, a fair price for such an item in-game too I’d say, but in “Mew” our InZOI currency.

This would make cooking from our own produce far more practical for the whole family.
To dump produce in it, one would simply click it and select the option “Transfer to freezer” (which would bring the selling interface where you can multiple click items, then it would unload them. An option to “Take from freezer” would also be needed, so that if you want to transfer those on your person to move with your inventory to a new house, getting a new bigger/smaller freezer, or simply to sell part of the harvest for profit by selling it from your own inventory or going to the shop to do it in person.
