[12.19.25] inZOI needs / about the journey / jobs brainstorm results (July 2025)

I’m sharing this because many of my suggestions related to NPC behavior, crowds, family groups with strollers, couples kissing and walking hand in hand, friend and school group activities, other social groups (beach parties, surfers, joggers, bike rides), smart NPCs, different walking styles, social media and community activity, transport, and services were based precisely on these samples. If it was postponed in favor of newest Discord proposals, I’d like to note that many of us have long awaited improvements in this area.

#1 TOPIC:

Surprisingly, the #1 topic was something we didn’t quite expect: you all simply wanted more things to do in our two cities. While the cities are already large and seemingly full of possibilities, your experience playing inZOI day after day ultimately felt repetitive, especially when looking for things to do with other Zois or family members. Discovering this through your feedback was so valuable to us and is a prime example of why this communication is so worthwhile. We will now be reallocating our development resources to make sure the two cities become more abundant, with more enterable locations and activities to do in your day to day gameplay.

It’s also about the journey

The same problem exists with careers, so we also had to review the feedback on them. And you know how huge the gap is between what players asked for back then and what is being added now in the form of, well… secret agencies, detectives… there were literally zero (!!!) requests for that.

All the requests for careers related to emergency services (hospital -top-9, police - top-10, firefighters - top-15) were entirely focused on their impact on the city. For example, with the police you literally get into a car and drive to the scene to make an arrest, put out a fire, or take someone to the hospital, thereby improving City Safety, Fire Prevention Rate, or Health Level.

Huge respect to the inZOI Team! It’s clear they opened the XLS, reviewed it and even replicated 1:1. I’m still jaw‑dropped. If there’s a place handing out likes, upvotes, or respect, call me, they all go to them
