It would be amazing if inZOI took inspiration from job simulation games, because these games already offer an extremely high level of detail. Tasks are not repetitive, situations change constantly, and different actions lead to different outcomes, which makes the gameplay feel dynamic and fun rather than mechanical.
If inZOI implements careers in this way, they would feel truly next-level. Players wouldn’t just repeat the same actions every day — instead, they would face unexpected events, challenges, responsibilities, and decisions that actually matter.
Games like Food Processing Simulator, Fast Food Simulator, American Truck Simulator, Mall Simulator, Police Simulator, and similar titles show how deep and immersive job systems can be when they include realistic routines, random events, time pressure, customer behavior, and consequences for mistakes or success.
Bringing this approach into inZOI would make professions feel alive and meaningful, turning work into a core part of the life simulation instead of a background activity. It would greatly increase immersion, replayability, and long-term player engagement.

Moving and rotating items gives you total freedom to position each piece in a way that looks good.
L1/R1 = fine lateral adjustment, like moving stuff without messing up the rest.
Side bar (MAX/MIN) = zoom or height, to add volume and layers.
Place/cancel buttons = safety net, like “oops, my bad” without breaking the plate.
Overlapping = create fancy layers (fillet on top of fillet, veggies over rice, etc.).
In the end, it’s all about turning a simple plate into something artistic and elegant, like a top-tier restaurant, without relying only on the game’s auto-placement. ![]()
