I just updated the “What happened in my game” thread. There’s no snow in Cahaya and it feels wrong to change the weather, so we have Christmas on the beach in 27 degree heat.

We decorated the house they are spending their first inZOI christmas together :christmas_tree:
(I’ve rebuilt the house they’d spent their first christmas together back in 2022 in The Sims 4)

There is a ukiyo-e style painting of that house in the living room and it seems oddly familar to them ^^

I also made cute christmas pyjamas for all of them

I’m currently trying to get the household presents for the many ones in my rotation… honestly, I’m rotating xD

Visited the festival park in Dowon and the tunes are still stuck in my head -.-

And we did a lot of baking already. I love that they can eat the cookies out of their hands instead of from a separate plate every time.

The Boys spent New Year at the Elegance Hotel in Bliss Bay. It was a bit stressful but also quite fun.

At midnight, we watched the firework at the rooftop

And the drone show at Liberty Square :psycat_3:

Happy New Year 2026! :fireworks:

Did your Zois have a sweet Valentine’s day?
Did they go out - or snuggled up at home?
Did they get sweet gifts?

Jack got flowers for Kiyoshi and asked him out.
But also all the others ^^’
None of them is an actual couple (yet) but it’s Valentine’s day and he thought they should have a date :revolving_hearts:

They went to Café Mar and Jack ordered quite the unusual table deco :carrot:

From behind the scenes:

It’s Lunar New Year!

This year is the year of the Fire Horse!
A very energetic combination that only happens once in the 60 year cycle of all possible combinations.
The fire is a symbol for energy, rushfulness, and the symbol for horse will be meaning energy, vitality, speed and passion.’
'This year, people are encouraged not to hesitate when making decisions, and to embrace the traits of the hor
se.’

Wesley invited the Boys to a Hanok style house for the celebrations and Ji Ho wore his Hanbok.

Their Bokjumeoni from the Elders didn’t contain money but their tickets back to Cahaya, so their winter holidays in Bliss Bay would be over soon.

All of them were wearing something red today, since in many cultures, it’s considered good luck to wear red to mark the occasion.
Except for Ji Ho, because this year, however, some may opt to wear calmer shades like white or blue to balance the intensity of the fire horse.

Lunar New Year dishes are heavily symbolic, with each dish representing a wish for prosperity, wealth, longevity, or family unity in the coming year.
Noodles for a long life, Whole Fish for an abundance of wealth or surplus (the chinese word for ‘fish’ sounds like the word for ‘surplus’), Dumplings shaped like ancient Chinese silver ingots representing wealth and prosperity.
It all looked - and smelled - delicious!
Wesley clapped his hands: “Meok Ja!” (= korean for ‘Let’s Eat’)

After dinner, Ji Ho lead them to the yard, to the little altar with the fire horse where they said a silent prayer with their wishes and also their gratitude.
It had been a rough year for all of them with all kinds of obstacles and challenges and the new year would bring even more of them.
But it wasn’t as frightening as before when they’d been all on their own.

Then it was time for the fireworks to scare away evil :fireworks:
Happy New Year, Boys!
And a very happy and energetic Lunar New Year for you too!
