Consistent Silent Crash on v0.5.1 - Game closes without error after Intro/Skip

  • Platform: Steam Windows

  • Mods: Never used (Fresh install behavior)

  • Hardware Specifications & Operating System OS: Windows 11.

    CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600GT.

    GPU: AMD Radeon Graphics (Integrated - 4GB VRAM allocated via BIOS).

    RAM: 16GB DDR4 @ 3200MHz.

    Storage: SSD C:

  • Issue Date:December 23, 2025.

  • Error Message:No error message. The game performs a “Silent Crash” to desktop.

  • Details:The game crashes instantly during the intro sequence or immediately upon attempting to skip it. Even after verifying local files, deleting the BlueClient AppData folder, deleting the webcache_4430 folder, and setting bModEnable=False in the .ini files, the crash persists. The logs show a failure to load the mods library: [Warning] Couldn’t load mods library from disk. The game was running perfectly fine on this hardware before yesterday v0.5.1 update.

Did you check if all drivers and windows are up to date?

Already solved :

  1. Search for “Adjust the appearance and performance of Windows”.

  2. Go to the Advanced tab > Virtual memory > Change…

  3. Check the box “Automatically manage paging file size for all drives”.

  4. Restart your PC. Let Windows decide how much it needs; with 16GB of RAM, Windows may create an 8GB or 12GB paging file on its own if the game requires it.
