This feedback relates to the December 23, 2025 introduction to the Crime skill and criminal work, as well as the Notorious Villain ambition (and maybe others I haven’t tried).
If your zoi commits even a petty crime like kicking a vending machine and any NPC is around (and they spawn in crowds where your zoi goes!), they report your zoi to the police. Your zoi is unable to flee, change outfits, and evade the police.
The police will always find your zoi, no matter what you try to do.
Someone will always call the cops. We used to have a City Management option for that but it seems the devs are taking City Management options away with every update, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see them all eliminated, to be honest.
It doesn’t matter if the NPC knows your zoi or not, the police always know the identity and home address of the criminal. Now, I wouldn’t mind it so much if it was an intentional dystopian game lore choice! I love dystopian plots, so if it’s that, please put surveillance cameras on all the street intersections, etc. Add a few more conversation options about surveillance, government control, people being silenced, etc. Some zois aren’t criminals but would resist such a dystopian state.

But that’s beside the point!!
Please enable zois to evade the cops after committing a crime.
Thanks!

I agree with this request.
It’s hard to enjoy the criminal path. My zoi has been in prison most of the time. As soon as my zoi extort people I made her run away and go far from the place where she committed the crime, but the cops are waiting for her. It doesn’t matter how far I made her travel the cops always find her. She currently has about 5 trails schedule and have attended about 4 more already. Which makes it a little bit boring because I already know what to do to declare her innocence. But still is time consuming that she is spending most of her time in jail or waiting for trail. Even after I see the cops I try to make her flee, but instead she walks directly to the cops and stretch her harms so she can be place in handcuffs. It would be amazing if you can change your outfit and the cops won’t recognize you anymore.
I have try the donut to evaded the police, but it’s very expensive. It cost about 500 mew coin and it hard to collect all those mew coins without using a cheat. Also that donut doesn’t work if you are scamming people using the computer or robbing a bank
Other thing we need a way to disable ALL the CCTV cameras at once. You have to do it one at the time and it takes forever. So far I only have been able to disable one camera and then the alarm rigs and the police arrived very quickly and arrest your zoi. There’s not time for your zoi to run away and if they do the police is waiting for you at home. Also it cost 5000 mews to get the information to schedule a robbery at the bank and your zoi only gets about 10000 from the safe box. The criminal career needs to be improve and made more accessible. It seems to me that the criminal path was created to punish players that desire to play with the rule breaker Zois.
This is making the criminal path very tedious and less enjoyable

yesss imagine we can make our zoi try to hide evidence and stuff, and depending on their skill level they either get away with it or fail badly and get caught by the cops anyways

It would be fun if there’s a timer (not displayed) that starts as soon as our zoi gets reported for a crime (or an alarm goes off).
The timer provides a certain “grace period” for the zoi to attempt to escape. They need to get away from the scene and the witness(es) within that time, or they will not be able to escape the police.
If they successfully get away from the scene and any witnesses, they would be able to change their clothes/ditch a disguise, and they could get rid of evidence if they have some.
Then like you said, it would be fun if it was based on the skill level. The amount of time to make an escape and ditch the disguise and/or evidence could be longer for higher skilled criminals.
Once the zoi has successfully evaded the police, there should be an “Lay Low” message in the household notifications that lets you know the police are no longer looking for the zoi as long as they stay away from the crime scene and don’t draw attention to themselves for a specific period of time. If they go back to the original scene too soon, or they commit another crime too soon, the police will catch the zoi. If the zoi stays away from the scene and doesn’t commit another crime during the “Lay Low” timeframe, then they will get the “All Clear” message and no longer be wanted for the crime.

I thought it was already supposed to work that way (with a temporary ‘wanted’ status that eventually cleared). I could understand the cops managing to track you down at your home, but I had my Zoi flee to a different city after being reported and immediately get arrested anyway.
Really the ‘criminal record’ status should be cleared after travelling to a different city, unless you’re a supervillain or something.

there should be several types of wanted levels, if you have a high wanted level, you can get caught in another city as well cause you’re all over the news
This - or just clear the record altogether after travelling if it’s too difficult. They should not have Interpol (or the Zoi-verse equivalent) chasing my Zoi for a single street robbery.

It shocks me. I bet the same would happen if you vent frustration on a vending machine, then flee to another country where the authorities are happy to go get you for that 200 mew fine!
I’m also surprised by it because when we go to another city, everything is “frozen” in the original city until you return.
So on some level, these cities are kept separate… except for being wanted by the police??
They want players to experience the whole arrest and trial process, and they probably didn’t want any loopholes like traveling, but if they can share some data between cities, why not a little more?
I would love it if the cities weren’t kept separate so much. Of course there’s no reason to simulate life in cities when you aren’t there, but aging could still be calculated (if aging is enabled). It would be nice to have a list of foreign contacts our zois met in other cities who they can send emails, letters, or postcards to. If someone dies of old age that your zoi would get a letter in the mail.
Of course, those wishes would require zois to be able to send emails using a computer, and be able to send and receive letters and postcards. Sending letters means our zois could send love letters too…
But back on topic, only certain crimes should be serious enough for your zoi to be wanted in another city.

I imagine it happens because the arrest record is stored under character data rather than city data, and the devs forgot (or it didn’t occur to them) that it shouldn’t carry across to other cities. Hopefully it should be fairly easy to fix; maybe one of us should report it as a bug? As for cities being ‘frozen’ when travelling, that’s because otherwise they’d have to simulate 3 cities (or more) at once instead of just one. Sadly I can’t see them changing that as it would just require too much processing power.
For sure, it wouldn’t make sense to simulate other cities. I meant simply age calculation that wouldn’t necessarily have to be calculated until the player returns to that town/city. It would create the illusion of life going on there while you were away (unless you turn aging off). For instance, you visit the place and then your zoi goes away for 20 days. If your zoi comes back, the game would alter the NPCs who live in the city to add 20 days to the time those zois have lived while the player’s zoi was living it up elsewhere.
I think it would be fun to send letters or emails, etc. as a fun thing your zoi can do, but not something that would change any relationship state with that person.
