Smart Zoi is not functioning properly.

  Smart Zoi seems to not be working. I played for four hours on 1/9/2026, and I attempted to use Smart Zoi the entire time. All of my household Zoi’s (6 in total) had “I’ve got nothing on my mind right now.” above their heads for the entire playthrough. I tried adding the custom prompts for each Zoi, tweaking the prompts from third person perspective to first, completely removing the prompts altogether, changing the settings for Smart Zoi in the gameplay options (My Zoi, My Zoi’s Family, All Zoi’s, queue from 6 to 8 to 16, etc.), etc. and it remained the same. During conversations or interactions, dots would appear over the Zois’ heads as if a thought was generating (from what I’ve seen before when it was working properly), however, when I’d click the Smart Zoi blip over their heads, it was always “I’ve got nothing on my mind right now.”, regardless of if they had been in an emotional situation recently or not.

I would like to add while playing since the latest update with smart zoi the zois stand around for a longggg period of time not knowing what to do or to take care of their needs. Even at my restaurant my workers would stand for hours not doing their tasks and customers not moving for long periods of a time until I turned it off. I kept wondering why zois kept standing still like they’re spaced out. I think the latest update broke the feature.

I think I may have found out what was causing this. I tried using Smart Zoi while NOT streaming, and it worked perfectly fine for multiple days. As soon as I started streaming again, it went back to all of the generated thoughts being “I’ve got nothing on my mind right now.”. I lowered my in-game graphics from mainly ultra across the board to the “medium” pre-set. Within my streaming software, I lowered the FPS from 60 to 30 and changed my bitrate from 20,000 kbps to 16,000. This resulted in Smart Zoi functioning properly for the remainder of my four hour stream. I’m thinking maybe less CPU usage results in Smart Zoi being prioritized a bit more, which then results in functioning thoughts? Or something of the like.
