Zoi autonomously goes to spray bed with fabric refreshener while at work

  • Hardware Specifications & Operating System (OS version, CPU, GPU, RAM, storage…): Windows 11, Intel i9 10850k CPU, Nvidia RTX 5070ti GPU, 32GB of RAM, 1TB SSD.

  • Steps to Reproduce: Go to work in your business as an employee while your Zoi has a specific bed assigned at home (home within walking distance of business)

  • Please provide the entire save file(s) from the date when the issue occurred.

  • Details:
    My Zoi, who is an employee at his wife’s business, has the obsessive need to spray their bed with fabric refreshener while they are at work at their business. They keep doing this when they have a specific bed assigned to them, and in this particular scenario the home is within walking distance (not sure if that matters). They will go all the way home from their work to spray the fabric. And even after doing it once, they will keep doing it on that day. The wife, who is the operator of the business, does not have this issue. EDIT: I stand corrected, she also has this issue.

You can do that when you get back home thought?
I don’t think this is an issue.

Like real life, you think of something while at work “Oh right I still need to go buy milk on the way home”
It’s a RL urge, but makes total sense.

But we’ll see if devs think it’s a bug.

@Samuriko ??? Are you making a joke or what haha? This is autonomous behavior it’s not an urge. The zoi will continuously try to do this autonomously while he’s at work. He’ll leave the business, walk all the way home and spray the fabric. I can cancel the action but he keeps trying again and again.

Small update: I have since I posted this also caught the wife (Business Operator) trying to go home to spray fabric refresher on her bed as well. This is really annoying and disruptive for the business gameplay because they keep leaving the business to do this! Can we please get any form of update on whether you guys are looking into it.

Assigning no beds helps but that also makes things annoying because now the wife will crawl into bed with her teenage sister in law instead of with her husband -_-.

In my game, the urge “spray fabric…” is appearing frequently, which is kinda annoying, but I haven’t had a Zoi perform the action autonomously while being at a different lot. That’s a whole other level bug -.-

Can someone please respond to this? This bug is highly disruptive to my business gameplay but there’s 0 response on whether it’s even on the radar to get fixed. I know there’s multiple people with this issue so it’s not a ‘me’ problem.

They’re closely observing the topics in this forum, so I’m very sure they are aware of it. Once the new update gets released on Thursday, they might list some new bugs as “under investigation”. I really hope you don’t have to be patient much longer :folded_hands:

Thanks to the save file submitted by @NovelistAnne, we were able to reproduce this issue on our end. This is now being investigated and we are aiming to have it fixed as early as March. Thank you all! :psycat_thumbsup:
