How to save a Zoi as a preset in CAZ
As of game ver 0.5.3
(In future versions, UI could be different, however conceptually these steps should work).
Assuming you are in the Character Studio (CAZ) and have created a Zoi with desired outfits for all categories, have chosen a name, age group gender, traits and so on,
To save the zoi such that it can be reused,
(Optional step if you later want to have the same outfits for your zoi, or reuse these outfits for other zois)
Select Outfit from the bottom UI. For each category (Everyday, Formal etc), Choose Save that appears as the first empty choice in the list of Outfit Preset icons on the right side. You must choose to save the outfit individually for each category.
(Optional step if you later want to have the same Style for your zoi, or reuse this style for other zois)
Select Style Preset from the bottom UI. Choose Save that appears as the first empty choice in the list of Style Preset icons on the right side. You must choose to save the style individually for each category.
(Optional step if you later want to reuse the same Face of your zoi - very useful to create a sibling or child with similar features )
Select Face from the bottom UI. Choose Save that appears as the first empty choice in the list of Face icons on the right side.
(Optional step if you later want to reuse the same Makeup of your zoi)
Select Face from the bottom UI. Select Makeup subcategory. Choose Save that appears as the first empty choice in the list of Makeup preset icons on the right side.
(Required step if you later want to reuse the zoi)
Select Outfit from the bottom UI. Select Everyday category from the Outfit Presets. This is the outfit that will be saved as the “Everyday” outfit when the Zoi is saved. If you happen to be in any other category, that displayed outfit will likely become the Everyday outfit in the saved zoi !! So you should choose the Everyday outfit category here.
Select Zoi Presets from the bottom UI. Ensure that the Zoi looks as you want it to - face, gender, body size, everyday outfit. Choose Save that appears as the first empty choice in the list of Zoi preset icons on the right side.
This saves the Zoi, creating a new icon at the beginning of the Zoi preset list. Now you can choose Complete from the bottom UI and exit.
To reuse this Zoi, enter the Character Studio, Click Zoi Presets, and click on the preset of this Zoi that was saved, from the preset list on the right side. Choose to Apply all.
Footnote: With possible changes to the way style and outfit presets are implemented, these steps may change, or the UI items may move around. However, the concept of saving a preset in an empty available slot is likely to remain.
