So, since perhaps last week’s patch or so, my home (which relies on WALL lamps instead of ceiling ones) started being as dark as the tombs of the Dark Lords, all of a sudden. Literally at night the light from outside started shining IN, instead of the other way around. So, being me, I started investigating.
Looking from this angle, you’d think I have no lights on the left, right?
Now the lit and unlit sides changed places. If it’s not clear, look for example at the dining table, easels and punching bag: they’re dark in the first pic, but lit in the second. Meanwhile the opposite applies to, say, the washing machine.
The difference? Which walls with lights on them are actually shown.
I can only assume it’s part of some optimisation, but, yeah, it could have probably used more testing. For all intents and purposes it broke ALL wall lights in the game, and now they are all broken.
Yup, I’m annoyed by the same thing, although to a lesser extent since I don’t use as many wall lights.
But typically in bathrooms I want a mirror above the sink and lights on one or both sides. But when looking from a direction where that interior wall is hidden, suddenly my Zoi is plunged into darkness. Not good.
Yesterday I was making modifications to the Neon club. I put up the bat wallpaper that you see in the photo, and which appears reflected here. But I was working with the option to not display the external walls and in the mirror, when the walls are not displayed, the wall and windows of the default building appear.
