Hey there,
I really like the characteristics & traits system as well as ambitions but the selection feels a little too shallow to represent various and rather common personality types and lifestyles yet. So here are some ideas:
TRAITS
Nothing yet. Maybe edit this part later.
CHARACTERISTICS

GEEK / NERDY and/or TEKKIE: Yes, we already have a bookworm trait but where are the gamers, computer nerds, trading card collectors, roleplayers, star wars fans, coders and so on? We need a trait for the nerds - maybe even two different traits: One rather focused on classicla nerdy stuff and one for characters that are specifically focused on the tech side (smartphones, computers, tablets, gaming, development, âŚ.). Or if that would be too much at least give us one general trait.

ANGRY: Hot-headed people that tend to loose their composure and get into conflicts more often. They tend to become angry when things donât work out as expected (e.g. failed repairs / things breaking, bad weather, conversations that donât go smoothly, âŚ). They need to work on calming down and staying calm

ATTRACTIVE: This Zois are outstanding attractive and others tend to be more flirty towards them and feel attracted to them more often. The improve romantical relationships more easily.

UGLY (or if this is too negative: SHY): Similar to attractive but reversed. If ugly feels too negative you could make it âSHYâ so it would rather be a personalty thing than a physical. So more like: "Tends to feel uncomfortably with flirtingâ

HYPERACTIVE: Always needs to do something. Needs less sleep. Needs excitement more often. Gets mood debuffs when doing the same tasks too often or doing tasks that make them sit for too long. Can be tiring but also motivating to others.
AMBITIONS
- WRITER (Creative) - Absolutely missing for the creative paths. writing your own novels or even being able to make a living as a freelance writer is almost a classic
- INFLUENCER (Community or Knowledge)- Focus on video production, taking photos, checking and posting on social media / smartphone regularly.
- DEVELOPER / COMPUTER NERD (Knowledge) - Similar to hacker but without the âevilâ elements. Developers want to improve programming and maybe even make a living by selling apps and games.

Faithful : The Zoi will go out of his way to not initiate and shutdown romantic interactions with other zois, making it very hard to âbranch outâ to another relationship, but will help tremendously with the current one. Maybe this trait features Zoi wanting to give flowers to their partner and maybe all those âwant to kiss, hugâ urges weâve been seeing could be triggered more with this characteristic instead. A faithful zoi should be very distressed if their partner is not. Right now it gives a -7 debuff, could be -15 with this one (aka - donât talk to me ! like when after a loved one dies). Maybe makes you and the other partner more receptive to long term/permanent relationship options ?

Cheater : Opposite of Faithful (kinda like zois are now to be honest lol). A Zoi with this trait does not care about their current romantic relationships. Itâs just a thing, a number to swipe through your DMs to make the evening more exciting! So what if one or two learn about it and blocks you, you have more than enough others to keep you busy (or so you think). Obviously a zoi with this would not really care about other Zoi infidelity as much (less debuff on the positive side)⌠On the negative side, maybe long term commitments are harder to secure both when asking, and when receiving request.
Basically I want faithful so much, it sucks sacrificing a Characteristic slot for this, as I was quite happy with Cheerful/Genius combo for my main zoi, but I can sacrifice Genius if need be. Cheater is a mix the the âI dont want to commit / fear of commitmentâ type which spend most of their youth being a bee and always flying around tasting the flowers and never settling on one⌠But also never satisfied and always believe they can do better⌠We have many example of this on both sides in RL 
this also frees the very precious trait since we can only have one and thereâs not that many good characteristics (at least to me) that choosing them is a no brainer for my zoi. Already with faithful I need to think about it.

Itâs a good idea! I suppose itâs more about characteristics, not traits (those two additional character temperaments that we choose in addition to the main trait). Nerdy and Holeric are interesting. But Attractive and Shy are a bit similar to Extravert and Introvert. Hyperactive is interesting too, it might be the opposite of Slacker.
Ambitions should be completely redesigned with new features added. In their current form, they are often boring to perform; they represent a repetition of the same thing. I liked the ambitions you suggested

My bad, I mixed up the naming of charactersitics and traits. Thank you for clarifying. I edited my original post to avoid confusion 
And yeah, it might seem thereâd be some similarities to extrovert / introvert but the difference ist:
attractive / ugly is rather passive - like the physical attraction / natural charisma to other people while extroverts / introverts actively choose that they love / donât like to talk to others. So theoretically you can be a person that is very attracting to others while also being an introvert yourself.
Calling it âshyâ maybe was a little misleading but I thought Iâd offer an alternative naming if people would think âuglyâ is a little too harsh for the game or was meant a some kind of shaming people who think theyâd be less attractive.

I really like âfaithfulâ being a contrast to âemotionally needyâ both focusing on romantical relationship but faithful being the more positive and âhealthy decisionâ one and emotionally rather comes from a base of insecurity.
Also I really would like to rather have 3 Slots than just 2 with the third being optional (so you could fill it or leave it blank if you like)

I agree, but I would add one more feature, two are already so few to describe the personality of the ZoiâŚ
