Hi everyone!
I’m new here, and I know there are topics about cars, but there are a few small things that are different from what I’d like, and some additional ones.
Cars are the point I care about the most (because I have too long a list of things in my head). Being able to drive them, and even with a controller if you want, is just amazing! But making them disappear? Why? Realism is that they don’t disappear. That they stay where we left them, even if it means getting a parking fine, or having to take a bus or taxi to go pick it up if our Sim went elsewhere. There are beautiful parking lots, parking meters, garage doors in build mode, we really have everything we need to have great moments driving, parking, picking up the car, etc… I hate seeing it disappear when my Sims leave it, or seeing it appear on the road when I want to drive. Not to mention that all the vehicles around disappear as soon as the engine starts, which is really too bad.
Keep the cars always in view, never make them disappear again, and let us park anywhere, even crooked, it would add charm and fun to this game! And not just our Sims, but NPCs too. Or any Sim in the city. It would be fun to go meet a friend somewhere, see them arrive by car, park it crooked, and why not have an interaction like “did you see how you parked?” or “you might want to retake your driving test” 
CONTROLLER. I love using the controller, mainly for driving, and actually, I was wondering if it would be possible to let us assign each button so we don’t have to use the mouse for certain things. For example, being able to choose which controller button I want for the left or right turn signal, hazard lights, etc… That would be great if it were possible! Because going through the mouse, clicking on the car, then on the headlights, and choosing to turn on the turn signal, turning, and doing the same thing to turn it off, is less immersive than doing it directly with the controller. So I stopped using turn signals 
LIGHTING. By the way, the lighting of car lights should be reviewed, because they don’t light up in front of us at all, and in darker areas, it’s rather dangerous 
WEATHER AND DRIVING. Also, why prevent us from driving when there’s heavy rain? At the same time, I saw scooters driving without any problem, and that makes no sense. Let us drive whatever the weather, I promise, we’ll be careful 
BOATS. One of my Sims fishes regularly, and she rents a boat. So, unless I missed a detail, I never found the option to “return the rented boat”. But especially, why not let us buy a boat (or two, why not 
). It would be nice to be able to own one, and why not be able to equip it a bit and customize it with different things to make it unique from the others? That would be really nice!
