So, my two young adult Zois are married. They still have romantic desires like hugging & kissing & going on dates. However, their romance bar has vanished and while they stil feel romantic and happy when kissing & hugging, when they get intimate (I play the german version so i dont know the english term used) they both are sad afterwards (mostly the woman tho) or they reject each other.
I noticed that the same happens in my game, even if they were the ones who initiated the interaction or wanted to do it, sometimes the zois get sad after intimate relations (I also don’t know the correct term, in my Portuguese game, it’s translated wrong ). Sometimes the zois also refuse, even if they have a good relationship and their basic needs are full. I think deep down they’re all a bit asexual.
Lots of kissing, hugging and other actions they like (Serenade if char/music above level 3 or 4) etc.
Then they almost never refuse. They still get sad sometimes after the act, which to me means that one of the 2 didn’t enjoy it as much as they thought they would, heh.
I agree with @Samuriko. Many Zoi’s reactions depend on the level skills of romantic charisma and rhetoric.
If both partners have love charisma skills of level 5 and above, my characters rarely reject each other and are sad. If their needs are contented and they have the right emotions
My aunt had charm and rhetoric level 10, her husband also had these advanced skills, and I used to put other romantic interactions first, but she would get sad. Finally, I convinced myself that her husband wasn’t good at doing these things, which makes the game quite realistic
Hating ourselves and regretting laying down with someone is… something millions of humans have experienced IRL. Especially women. Or so I’m told. By my ex-girlfriend
This has been an issue since the October update. The emotion log seems to imply that the male has some sort of problem “down there” and will cause an issue in the relationship. It happens almost every time either to one or both Zois. From what I’ve seen watching people play, no one even notices that the zois had a bad time. It seems kind of strange that they actually implemented the males having an ED type problem with no available treatment and that it occurs at all age stages that can “set the mood”….
