I don’t know what the problem is—whether it’s a bug or intentional. The point is that my Zoi is completely unable to build romantic relationships. Romantic actions sometimes work, and there is flirting. But dates are always refused, and romantic relationships go downhill. You try this and that to build romantic relationships. My Zoi wanted to figure out the nature of his relationship with some girls, whether it was friendship or something more. Once, a girl came and refused, and for some reason, his love for her ended, even though nothing had even begun. Other girls didn’t come at all, even though they had suggested meeting up themselves.
If you try to do everything in one day, both friendship and romance, the character will only have low needs, and the girl will reject him anyway. I ended up using a relationship cheat, and what happened? The same thing. Romantic interactions are still sometimes met with a negative response. I even created a new family for the experiment, a husband and wife, and it’s still the same!
I’m so tired of this. My Zoi dreams of a big family, but it’s impossible to build a relationship. I tried different approaches. I pumped up his charisma a lot, he knows how to joke. And nothing changes.
Unfortunately, they couldn’t help me here on the forum, I already wrote a question about it here. I asked other people for their opinion, they say it’s REALISM. Well, with boosted charisma, so that every girl refuses dates/romantic interactions? Very realistic.
Also, my Zoi can’t invite anyone to meet or even write a message. Only other Zoes can invite him to meet each other (and not to come) and write messages. He can do it but very rarely.
This is either the most terrible bug or, worse, an intentional idea for “realism,” to complicate everything SO much… For me, relationships are very important in a life simulator.
