I sincerely apologize. This topic has already been raised, I used a link to it. The applicant had problems saving Zoi. The forum administration replied that this issue has been resolved in the update.
To be honest, I was not aware of such a problem in principle. I haven’t come across this myself yet, so I came to this forum. It has not been completely resolved, something still provokes its appearance.
I also used the CustomZoi cheat code. The editor asks you to enter the characteristics, although this feature is missing.
I think without translation it is clear what is happening in the screenshots. They are similar to the previous topic.
I will note that I have tried to save zois of different age categories. Nothing is working. The ZOI card contains all the character traits and ambitions. The main ZOI can be preserved, but its children cannot be preserved.
I managed to save a couple members of my family, and can still re-export them as presets.
But any new Zoi I want to export the preset of are not working now. Getting same error even with all the fields being filled-up (including the career)
Uploading to canvas give same error.
I got many hours of progress on the Zois I want to save, I could use a proper solution as I don’t want to lose all that hard work… Thank you !
How many Zoi-Presets has either of you saved so far? This could be a limitation issue but that’s only a wild guess tbh.
If you guys want to, you can upload the save file with the Zoi you want saved here. I’d try to save them as Zoi-Presets online without any hashtags, maybe even “unlisted” if that’s still possible. Then I can put the links up here and you’d be able to download and save them. I’ll delete them after you’ve successfully downloaded them of course. That’s the only workaround I can think of right now

→ What I need to fully implement it on my setup is the highlighted file only. I call it the “main file” because all the others are only the Auto Saves. (I can use one of them too because I recently figured that out, but main files are easier.)
How to locate which save file belongs to which family / world / save game without showing proper titles:
The save files (screenshot #2) always show the correct time and date when you last saved. Go in your game, open your saves and check the time and date of the save file you want to send. Then head back to the save file folder and check the “main file” of every single one. You should be able to identify the right one this way. It sounds a lot trickier than it actually is.
EDIT: If the Zoi you want saved wears any CC or mods, please let me know so I can download it. Without doing that, you’d have to re-arrange the clothing after re-downloading the Zoi-Preset from my account. If you prefer to do this outside of the forum, I can let you know my Discord or Steam.

I also think I found out what is happening with the game.
The earlier characters I managed to export all have the wrong name, which leads me to believe the game has a bug where it does upload proper characters, but is validating on the wrong zoi ID. They had proper looks and other personal info, but the wrong name.
So if it’s checking a baby to teenager zoi while trying to validate your own zoi, then it would make sense to get this error. Maybe also if it checks a dead zoi, dunno. There’s some corruption afoot which affects the exporting preset process. I hope this helps the devs narrow it down.

ID Zoi 140707 if needed specifically. But in principle, I can no longer save the Zoi that was born in any save.

This is one of my experimental saves. It doesn’t represent any special lore value to me. One of the features of this game that I really liked is genetics. I like to experiment. Therefore, I drew attention to the problem

—Then I successfully bought a business, decided to try myself there, experiment with all sorts of different things.
—Then I remembered why I came in and started having children.
When the first Zoi was born and reached adolescence, I tried to save her, but failed. I assumed that maybe she still needs to grow up to be young in order to be saved, in order to have a full set of ambitions and traits. While she was growing, three more appeared.
But even when she grew up, the saving error still remained. The rest of the ZOIS were also not amenable to preservation.
I can’t say at what point it broke. Because before the new year, I was playing and everything was fine. Then I took a break and didn’t come in. And so, I’m on the cool forum of this fascinating game.
With a young adult (In this case it was Iroha - the pink dress breaded hair one), or Derika, I used the cheat “Customzoi” with their ID.
It brought me to the usual edit screen, where I clicked on Zoi presets at the bottom.
Then on the right, clicked the save arrow.
I got the error below even though every field was filled-up :
The previous members of this family I managed to upload as preset all had the wrong name as well.
They had NPC names I did not recognize, just in case it helps you.
Here’s my save game file. If you need the entire folder, let me know and I will resubmit.
Also it’s my first upload, if something did not work, let me know how to fix.
