If there is a collision with doors (any object crosses the door placement zone), it is considered a game error that cancels the door assignment. I encountered this problem in my game. A trash can was falling into the door placement zone and the door was highlighted in red when placing it. I ignored this and pressed “Alt” for free placement. In the game, when assigning permissions for the door, my Sims ignored the entry restriction. I removed the trash can and everything worked as it should. In build mode, the door should be highlighted in blue! @LennyOgg if in your game in build mode the door is highlighted in blue and the placement is correctly selected, then yes this is a bug. Double-check.
I had exactly the same thing - some Zoi would come and go, others could never leave. I shared my experience. In your case, there might be an error if all the rules have been followed.
I seem to have the same issue. when the door to my zois cafe kitchen is set to ‘employees only’, NPCs enter but then cannot leave. Nothing is in the way. Once this happens, the only way I have found to fix the issue is to replace the door with an archway.
Since this issue addresses the same topic as the existing thread namely, door sets for business operators only. I will merge them to facilitate easier tracking and updates for the community.
The customer can be noticed in the middle of the divided space along with the employees. The door was previously locked but the zoi doesn’t recognize it as locked.
