The backpack behavior really ruins the immersion. It’s funny, yes, but it needs to be changed. When school time kicks in, they suddenly appear wearing whatever the Sim is doing. I’ve seen children and teens getting out of bed in pajamas with backpacks on their shoulders, showering with a towel and backpack, and in this photo I’m posting the Zoi girl, even though she’s no longer in school hours (but she went to the pool I created in a commercial lot without going home first) threw herself into the water with a swimsuit and backpack on her shoulders 
Her sister, who did exactly the same thing, doesn’t have it, I don’t know why.
