Snow does not actually accumulate or even show up on the ground

  • Steps to Reproduce:

Snow never accumulates during winter, I will get a pop up saying its a good day to make snowmen but I can’t because there is no snow anywhere on the ground.

Does this happen when it’s set/progressed to the winter season in your game or only when you go to the world settings and “make it snow” by choosing snow option 1-3? :thinking:

I haven’t built snowmen myself in-game yet, but in this Reddit post, the screenshot clearly shows that it should be an option in very low winter terrain too: Reddit - The heart of the internet

In case the devs need it in the future, would you kindly upload the affected save file here please :folded_hands:

We’re currently in Bliss Bay (I don’t know if it makes a difference or not) and I set the season to Winter with the cheat and also the snow in the city settings and building snow man is possible then.

So you could try that too, if you like.

IIrc, you click on the ground and the option shows up, I’m not sure, but maybe you have to scroll a bit(?)

It doesn’t matter if the weather system progresses or if I make it snow it never does accumulate and yes I can upload the save file.
