Unrequited love/crush

I’m not sure how difficult this would be to make happen but I think it would be great to see relationships that don’t always progress at the same rate or in the same way for both parties. For instance, I think it would be fun to add one-sided crushes or even unrequited love. It would add to the storytelling possibilities and add an extra twist to the gameplay.

One-sided relationships in general would be great. I want one-sided friendships, or maybe a boss who likes all his coworkers, but they all hate him. It would be more realistic!

I noticed the relationship bar already could fill up unevenly for the two characters. But it seems it’s not possible that Zoi 1 loves Zoi 2 and at the same time Zoi 2 hates Zoi 1. When I switch between characters, I noticed that the bars can differ by about 5-15 points. In my screenshots you can see that two siblings have different business relationships.

I hope that when devs add memory system and relationship dynamics, they will also make the bars more distinct. This would make the relationships more unique and interesting.

I’ve noticed that too. It seems to happen more often between two zois in the same household . I’ve also noticed that the strength of romantic attachment seems to be related to who instigated the romantic interactions (I.e. the one who starts the flirting often feels less strongly than the other).

I’d like to see greater variations in how feeling differ between two zois and maybe have it based on elements other than who made the most effort (e.g based on personality).
