An option for less negative actions/reactions

I’ve played inZOI for ~ 1.000 hours and it happens a lot that actions/interactions with other Zois are negative, even if meant positive (like the couple’s mood after being intimate, for example. Or the conversation suggestions, or the insulting NPCs. . .).
Unnecessary drama just for drama’s sake and for no reason at all.
Negative stuff I’d rather not have in my game.

Another example:
Jack and Kiyoshi have all bars on high and Jack spent his last Meow on rescueing that cute plushie out of the claw machine to gift it to Kiyoshi - and Kiyoshi gets a negative 2 hour moodlet that overwrites all his positive experiences from before.

Please give us sliders (back) where we can set the outcome of interactions and conversations :folded_hands:
For players who want a relaxed/positive gameplay experience.
I’m having enough troubles in RL as is and I just want to chill and play :psycat_paw:

I absolutely agree! :folded_hands: We need WORKING scales for all relationships. At now scales for relationships doesn’t work, how does the player expect it.

If someone want drama or “a plausible reality“, let them set a hard difficult relationships!

But NOT All players want “drama” in the game. Many people, like me, run away from the drama in real life towards an easy and pleasant life.

This gaming experience should become a relaxation, meditation. So that after it, in real life, I would fight against the world with renewed vigor. :upside_down_face:

Yeah I don’t complain about that one as much, but another part of the game that was removed (possibly with Karma removal back then).

I hope they put it back.

Also they really should fix Zois being super mean in a string of non-stop conversations.
You cancel one, another pops and they can do this 15-20x in a row. Then go to the vending machine and smack it (even tho they are on a +7 bonus for string of good moodlets and every one is at like, +11/+12), and not frustrated at all. I really don’t get the reason, maybe it’s a zoi thing and I’m only human so I don’t get it.

Then of course all the Zois are stool pigeons and 4 of them call the cops because you hit a vending machine. lol.

Hi, friend! :raised_back_of_hand:

Let me give you a some advice or food for thought.

Developers often write in patchnotes for new updates that character’s traits affect not only behavior, but also reactions to gifts. These are not empty words or advertisements.

I don’t deny that in your particular example, the gift could have caused an incorrect reaction as a result of an error or bug. But I’ve also played for over 1,000 hours, & I’ve been experimenting a lot. Sometimes pragmatic, down-to-earth characters don’t like gifts like toys and flowers.

In one experiment, I evolved all relationships to the maximum. Friendship, partnership, love. In the settings of the city, all relationships were at their maximum on the scales. But after after handing over the gift - flowers Zoi-partner didn’t just get bored. She began to communicate negatively more often. & love relationships began to decrease noticeably)))

I restored all relationships to the maximum. & gifted her an ingot of gold. She was glad  The partner had trait - Scholar (Intellectual).

But in 100% of my cases when my Zoi gifted flowers, art books, photo frames, sweets, piece of cake, to Visionary or Individualist - I haven’t seen any negative reactions. & I’ve tried to gift toy from claw machine - any time only happy reactions)))

I think that a most universal trait for Zoi-partner in love - is Pacifist. I think they like any whatever gifts, because they peaceful, non-conflicting

Oh thanks for that! I’ll have to check their traits then.

But still, it’s super annoying when you just want to play and have to ‘do the maths’ before giving a sweet gift to not ruin their relationship ö.ö

I mean, if I get a present from a person I like, I’m happy no matter what it is.
They thought of me and brought me something, that’s enough.
Why would I cause a scene, get mad or even refuse the gift?

As if the devs wanted to show in whatever our Zois do how bada&% ‘GTA like’ inZOI is :man_facepalming:

Personally, it didn’t annoy me, but even amused me.

I’m not saying it’s right! But in different unrelated saves and progress I’m often create couples:

Charmer + Socialite; Charmer + Pacifist; Charmer + Visionary; Charmer + Charmer (their relationship doesn’t even need to be evolved forcibly, they often kisses non-stop at full autonomy “On”, & only sometimes they speak about about the weather, chess, and Apple stock prices; I honestly did such experiments!)));

Pacifist + Socialite (peaceful + sociable)

Visionary + Individualist (creative + introverted, but they need more time to adopt & adjust addiction, don’t force them go to bed on the 1st Date)));

Me personally didn’t create Zoi with another traits. I know it much worse.

In my experience, Intellectuals, Explorers, Sentinel, Leaders are good with these characteristics - Genius, Bookworm, Workaholic, but not good in Love)))

And! :drum:

You can change trait of NPC (& your old Zoi) with cheat code. List of cheats You can find here at inZOI web page
