Ummm… don’t know. Play the game in the 2008 lot in Bliss Bay, maybe ?

Basically this started like a weeks ago (in-game)

Zois are walking on the Boardwalk, then take a 90° turn next to my property (the non-usable lot next door), and just stay there.
They aren’t hungry, they don’t do anything at all, forever.
The bald one on the picture has been there for 5 days straight.
They are all “Filler NPCs” not from any active family if that helps narrow it down.

I can rescue them, but after a while more will come and get stuck/just stop there and do nothing.

I had that a while ago at Cahaya too ö.ö
Mr Ishida is a premade but I added him to the household sometimes for the story.
But one day he appeared (when not being played) at the border of the lot behind the shrubbery (far away from the entrance) and stayed there even until the next day (he even changed clothes autonomously), I’ve only noticed him becuse my Zois got teleported there too when I moved sth in build mode -.-
Later he showed up at the Temple, still with the bananas.

Are some of the Zois in your pic also holding plates? Or are these books?

Two are holding books. The others do not seem to be holding anything :

To note that the 3 on the right just appeared today, but there where like 5 of them last time before I rescued them using psycat. Now it’s back to 4

Smart Zoi AI plotting against their makers :robot:

Maybe they’re simply trying to stalk your good-looking Zois? I got the hint. Mine are ugly. Fine…

Maybe. I’m still working on that 6 girls / 6 boys of what I call 10/10 score.
So far I only have one 10/10 girl.

Seriously though, I don’t know why they do that.
The same 4 have been there for a full week now.

It’s really weird. I’ve used this lot for quite a while in my March launch save and haven’t seen anything like this. No intruders, only the casual babysitter living with us for much longer than intended, but even she got the message eventually.

And what’s up with them holding items in their hands? This happens too frequently and is probably related to the bug. Is there any kind of bookshelf on your lot that could be falsely marked as “public bookshelf” from the game’s POV? Or maybe even on the lots nearby?

Since 0.5.3 I have noticed many NPCs, mostly Young Adults, carrying books in their hands when walking around the city (Dowon). Perhaps this was added to make NPC crowd look more realistic.

So while the bug exists that random NPCs appear and do not leave the lot, they holding books may not be as relevant.

I get it all! These are stalkers, persecutors! Now let someone try to call inZOI an unrealistic game!
